Over the years The Children's Cancer Society has been out in each and every community. It is not statistics and other sources that have educated us, it is you and we thank you. It is the people that we have met that have graciously shared their stories about their battles with cancer.
It is the beautiful children that we have met, their strength, their courage without ever ceasing not to smile or laugh. They are our teacher's and our motivator's that keep us down to earth where we belong. They keep constantly reminding us of what life is really all about.
They are our engine that push us forward and when we get tired, we look to them and they refuel us.
The children give us our inspiration; for that is why we exist. It is you that we reach to for the resources, the vehicle, for us to reach out to them.
So, when you see CCS in your community, know that we are there for you and your children. Help us to help you, for without you there is no us!
